ok, i see army of two advertised all over this website, yet no review. last week it was frontlines fuel of war advertised all over this site, still no review. are editors afriad to review titles because of what happened to jeff G? who knows. also bully scholarship edition still hasnt been reviewed, ALL of those 3 titles have been VIDEO reviewed on ign.com and im just complaining about a few 360 games, i chose not to renew my paid membership on feburary 14th (valentines present from my wife a few years ago)

if i could cancell my free membership somehow i would also, anyone know how to do that? (couldnt find any options in my prefrences) i dont really give a crap if this post is removed or people complain about it, i doubt i will be back.

peace

I believe they've gone a little downhill after the horrible underrating they just gave lost odyssey, but not reviewing games before they come out is gamespot policy. Unlike IGN they do not review pre-released games. As for the lost odyssey review.. they greatly exaggerated the technical glitches in the game. I just finished it and the longest loading time was 20 sec, not 4 min. Loading times were consistent with Mass Effect, which I also finished. They also made great effort to complain ablout the hiccups. While a sad problem with a finished product, it only happened about 20 times in the entire game. That's about 20 min in a 50 hour game. I think the game compares favorable with Final Fantasy 8, not quite as good as ten, but a better story than 12's weak plot. Enough ranting though.

I wasn't aware that there was much more hill to go down.....Their reviews are usually pretty useless. Sometimes ill read one and just skim down to descriptions of gameplay ignoring all opinion mainly because i don't agree with most anything they have to say. I just want to hear HOW the game is played not how annoying the reviewer found it.

Unfortunately, I haven't been with GameSpot long, so I don't know how it use to be, but it sucks to hear someone leaving because of reviews not coming out... I hardly use GameSpot for more than just some information and the community here. I love posting here because some of the discussions here are really great. Some are just okay, but that is something you find everywhere on the Net.

excellent point, the reviews were bad like for god of war most sites gave it 3.75 or around 9.5 and this dam site gave it a 8.5. They dont rate games fast enough, it has some lag problems. gamestop should start focusing and should try a lil harder to keep us satisfied

Did you read Kevin's response? It said that they were sent from Microsoft under impression that they were final, but they were not. He fixed the review. The bottom of the review now says "Editor's note 02/19/08: After posting this review GameSpot found that load times in the review version of Lost Odyssey were significantly longer than those in the retail game. We have amended the review accordingly and regret the original error."

i remember when i first came on this sit the reviews came quickly and the rating system was better and all that. now they change the rating system and dont get game reviews out will like 2 weeks after. the least they could do is get it when the games come out. but they dont. so. i have been thinkin of moving to do a different site to get better reviews.
