Gamerscore - offline and online profiles

I have a offline profile, when I go to Xbox live I can create a on line account on my console?

I can export my gamer points to my on line account?

You just want one profile, load up your profile and click the join xbox live button on the dashboard.

Cuz I'm going to buy a router to play on xbox live...and I don't want any problems on the last hour...

Okay...I have a problem also... I started off playing all my games on an offline gamer profile (crit1caL)...Then I decide to get in on my free Xbox Live Silver, so I join Xbox Live through that gamer profile and the GT crit1caL is taken... I'm forced to choose something different, so I choose (xcrit1caL)...Anywho-- here is where the problem starts... It creates a new gamer profile that has no acheivements or gamerscore... I would really like to just turn my original offline profile into an XBL one so that I can retain my gamerscore and stuff... If you can solve my problem I will be forever grateful, due to the fact that I don't have the time to regain my acheivements on my new-XBL-GP/GT. Thanks!

I think you just got to cut your losses and just always play on your live profile from now on. There probibly was a way to do it right when you where setting it up but now its to late.

the same thing happened to me when i set up my xbl account. ive tried everything and i dont think that its possible.

There is the option to change your gamertag for 800 Microsoft points. Are you unable to do that unless you register an online account first? I'm not exactly sure how that works..

I believe you must have an online account first b4 you can do that.

I had 140+ hours into Oblivion when I got a XBL profile. I won't see those achievements again.

sure you will, I thought that 2, and had been putting off for ages, just run thru the guilds and main quest, avoiding all side quests and you will have it done in a week!!!
