I was reading a post about how people buy games just to boost their gamerscore and I had an idea. my idea was that Microsoft should give you stuff for reaching milestones with your gamerscore.I know Microsoft would most likely not do this but it would give people an incentive to maybe buy games that you may not buy without this bonus. It could also have people buy 360 games insted of PS3 games. Just an idea

Great Idea, Microsoft has to hear this. That's basically now why I still play games (achievements) but I always wanted a extra incentitive

This is an interesting idea but I do not ever really see Microsoft doing this because I think people will find ways to cheat the system.

They're doing a closed beta of a kind of rewards system. I forget exactly what goes on but you get bonus MS points when you renew live subscriptions, buy marketplace stuff, and (I think) when you 1000/1000 GS a game.

so why would people boosting gamerscore make you think that MS should give rewards to people with a high gamerscore? All your doing is encouraging boosting, game saving and renting games

I dont mind if people boost or rent games more its just an idea to get more people to buy some games and you wouldnt keep games longer you would want to trade them in to get new games. Although I just realized that game companies would make really super easy achievements to get people to buy games and that wouldnt be fun. So maybe it wouldnt work

Rewarding people for their ability to spend is dumb. They are already rewarded by being able to purchase/rent/play more than others.
