Well my gamertag got hacked, and now the A**hole change it to something else. It probably because my dumb brain want a free M$ points. so i guess i deserved it. Anyway is this ever happend anyone, and how long does it take for them to solve this problem
Never happened to me because i never fell for that stuff. My friend wanted to get me some free M$ points and i told her it was a scam. People should never expect free things on the internet.

It doesn't get solved - you gave your details out and that person took your account. MS won't care because you gave them your details, and they take care to tell you never to do this.
Learn your lesson that you never get something for nothing, accept the tag is lost, and create another.

Doesn't it say that they wont do anything about this in the terms of agreement? If you gave away your information.
I honestly don't see why they should. It's up to you not to fall for a Phishing technique so it's not Microsoft's problem, it's yours. I hope next time when you see an advertisement on the internet that looks suspicious you'll say to yourself "this is a scam" and move on.

They CAN take your gamertag while your online. I had a personally known friend playing Halo 3 with me one time and while he was playing...all of a sudden he gets kicked out of the game and i get a call about 5 minutes later from him saying, "I cant get online, it says my gamertag has been recovered or something like that", i looked at his gamertag on my friendslist, and it showed him in Gears of War!...he doesnt even have that game. i tell him this and he starts freaking out...he signs into his other account on xbox.com and looks at his friends list to see that his main gamertag is gone off of it. He then tries to sign into main account on xbox.com and wasnt able to. He has no idea how he lost his gamertag, but i can guarantee it was a phishing site.

Ouch...that sucks man. As long as you learned not to trust people on the internet then it wasn't a total loss.
