gamertag HELP Plz!

Quick question... Does anyone know if it is at all possible to combine gamertags??? Reason being, I bought my 360 months ago, created gamertag, accumulated achievements and so forth. About a month ago got live, created gamertag {for whatever reason wouldn't let met recover original one}, still accumulating achievements and so forth. Any and all suggestion Greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking. Late.
