Are useless unless you want a quieter game experience. Anyone else agree?

It does make a noticable difference in load times. Also, the sound reduction is superb. Less wear on the DVD drive helps as well. If it weren't for fable 2 and this feature, I wouldn't have bought another xbox.

ahh, for me not much of a difference. I installed cod 5 and i dont really think it is that much of a difference. havent noticed sound or load times quieter or faster...

You'd have to be hard of hearing not to notice when the DVD drive is spinning vs. when it's not. Or your volume is maxed :)

I agree with fable 2 but any-other game is not worth it.

I agree, I've also noticed that my 360 doesn't get as hot whilst playing as it used to. I install all my games to my HDD now.
