two worlds.... that was a shocker, i never really thought i could play a game so little. i rented it for 3 days, put it in my 360 played for fifteen minutes then didnt touch it till i took it back.
also ace combat 6. wasnt a bad game it was actually fun but i just couldnt get into it.
oblivion, i bought that for a first time then stupidly traded it for another game then i bought it again but after the second time i bought it i musta only played a few hours, its really fun if your in the right mood but as with ace combat 6 for some reason i just cant get into it.
We've all purchased or rented a game that we went home put it in for 30 min and never went back too. I haven't played any recently but was just looking for your input as I recently purchased a 360 last week and am going to try and avoid that trap. A few that i remember, granted there not Xbox games, were South Park on the N64, No more Hero's on the Wii, and King Kong on the PS2.Boyles11
Not so much thirty minutes, but I played Dead Rising for a good four hours the first time I played it, and of course made the stupid fatal mistake of not saving it. I had gotten pretty far, and there was no way I was redoing it all.
King Kong. I played it until I died....boom that was IT for that game.

Agree, Just thought it was terrible, also to a previous poster who borrowed the game. It seems that most of the games I borrow only last about an hour max and I'm done ready to give them back.
F.E.A.R - my 360 RROD about 10 minutes after putting the game in....
Other than that none for my 360. The closest would have been Condemned, but i played like 5 levels of that before stopping.
The most recent game non360 would be viewtiful joe. I bought if from EBGames took it home and played it and (i don't know if there are saves in the game or what not, but if there were i never reached one) and i just wanted a checkpoint or save so i could stop and play later, but now i don't feel like redoing what i did.
EDIT: I rented F.E.A.R so it didn't bother me as much (also got a free repair).
There's been too many.
Diablo 2 (PC): Bought it on release, installed it, played it, 30 min later I quit the game and have NEVER played it again.
Dead Rising (360): I've played about a hour of this game and I actually enjoyed it, but still its collecting dust right now and I feel no need to play it again.
Unreal Tournament 2003: This game made me appreciate UT99 even more.

Wow Diablo 2, did not expect to see that one pop up. I played a ton of that game, many didn't like the non stop clicking but I had months of fun with one.
Stranglehold - played it for a couple of hours after borrowing it from a friend, but just hated being stuck to rails all the time.
Import Tuner Challenge - a racing game that leaves you in a complete mystery why you are even racing. Start with a crap car, one very restricted circuit and no idea what you are meant to be doing. A few races later and I gave up and went back to PGR.
Dead Rising was fun, and I played it through 72 hour mode once, didn't get the true ending, and haven't gone back to it since. Keep meaning to, but again there are just a lot of other games waiting to be played.
I know I am going to get flamed for this but......Ninja Gaiden 2. Got to the first third boss that was so difficult it made me question my belief in God.Haphilli
LMAO.
Perfect Dark Zero: I played it for 30 minutes and realized I just wasted 9 bucks to get that garbage.
Undertow: Thankfully it was free, but the gameplay is frustratingly boring.
Totemball: It's impossible to control the game with the webcam.
Yaris: I almost killed myself after starting that game up.
condemned 2( even tohugh i loved the first one)
yaris
lost planet
forza 2
marvel ultimate alliance
assault heroes 1
I have about 10 games that i have done that to on the 360. I mean to go back to them but never get around to it. They consist of Condemned 2, Devil May Cry 4, Orange Box, Overlord, Forza 2, Dead or Alive Xtreme (may never play that piece of trash again), Dark Sector, Clive Barker's Jericho....
In the case of Devil May Cry 4 I bought it the day it was released and played it the FIRST time yesterday. I have a problem with things like that. Finally played God of War 2 this month even though i bought it the day it came out too

all i gotta say is i find it kinda crazy u could go 5 months w/out even starting a game. esp dmc4 or gow2 which was more like a year. not trying to diss you i just think thats crazy i usually play games the day i get them.
and i know im gonna get ripped for this but i only logged about 17 hours of oblivion. def not 30 minutes but compared to the 200 ive seen its not a lot.
thrillville - too repetitive i was lookin for somethin more simtheme park boy that was fun
marvel ultimate alliance-wanted to do it just for the achievements cuz it came with forza 2 but quit cuz it was lame
halo 3 campaign- i play it in maybe 4 2hour sessions and quit cuz its the same thing, master chief do this master chief do that, uh o the flood came bak, kill this kill that then u see this cool cutscene and then its chief bak to work
Advent Rising (XBox)-Bought into the hype and the game sucked big time
Unreal Championship 2 (XBox)-Impulse Buy and the game got really boring after a short time.
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within - Played it for a few hours but it just got boring and frustrating.
Marvel Ulitmate Alliance - Came with my 360 played for several hours and unlocked almost all the characters, then the game cliched and all the characters and costumes locked up. PISSED ME OFF. So I haven't played it since then.
PGR3 - I played it as long as I could and got as much achievements as possible, I doubt I'll play that again.
Dead Rising - The save system ruined it for me and the rarety of guns made it not so fun.
Fight Night Round 3 - Although I finished it and got all of the achievements, I won't ever play it again, it was fun for the first couple of fights but then just got boring.

ive been playing D2 for about 10 years now...lol
Kingdom Under Fire:
Played it for one full hour until i realized that i was about to THROW UP from its awful repititiviness. A nightmare of a game.
Burnout Paradise:
I was a big fan of previous burnout games, and was looking forward to this one, but didn't pass 15 minutes with it and now it's covered with dust. I just HATE HATE HATE the open world, and the fact there is no offline multiplayer mode which i bought the game for.
Operation Darkness:
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. Completed the first stage and dumped the game.
Games i bought a few months ago and still didn't get the chance to play them once:
1. Oblivion 2. Mass Effect 3. Eternal Sonata 4. Lost Odyssey 5. Darkness 6. FEAR 7. Devil May Cry four 8. Condemend Criminal Origins 9. Condemend Bloodshot 10. Bioshock 11. Ninja Gaiden 2
