Gore Verbinski :) Mess up? I dont think so :wink: I heard hes going for an R rating, which is good because it wouldnt be the same without the blood from the splicers going everywhere :) BUT here's to hoping that he can come up with a good ending :)
MGS for sure. When I played it on the gamecube, I didn't find the actual gameplay that great but loved it when the cutscenes came up. I would actually smile when I got to put the controller down and watch them, lol.
I'm usually not one games becoming movies, but get Kojima to direct it and there'd be no problem.
I guess we're so used to seeing all our favorite video game characters in a game, that when it comes to putting them on the big screen, we kinda shun away. Our maybe, just maybe okay, directors that have adapted games into the big screen just plain suck. And it's funny how great directors like Speilberg, Michael Bay, dont want to even try to take a stab at it. Gee, I wonder why.
Maybe some Splinter Cell games. Bioshock. Mass Effect. Halo? only with a good director and was committed to making it the best. And no Samuel L Jackson as Master Chief.
