Gears of War had major online trouble so, no doesn't deserve a 10. It got what it deserved. I think COD4 should've been in the above 9.5 average. I think it is just MGS4 right now that deserved a 10. GTAIV should have gotten a 9.8
hmm...well I would say Final Fantasy X no the PS2. That was a truly amazing experience. Let's see...I really havent met any other 10 worthy games, except Metal Gear Solid 4, and that DID get a perfect 10, so thats all good.

Not the orange box, you may get alot for your buck, but that doesn't the games are perfect, to be honest it felt like Valve weren't happy with Half life 2's original scores and clashed it together with a bunch of extras... hell it even was nominated as a GOTY title!
Hands down, the best game in my opinion ever made, is oblivion, large open world, great quests and stories huge replayabillity , overall just my definition of the perfect game so far.

amen. IMO Halo 2/3 were just Halo 1 repackaged with better graphics and a few new toys. Halo 1 has always been my favorite precisely because it didn't have that repackaged feel. I'd almost say it deserves a 10 (only Halo 1 though)

I hadn't played any Half life games when orange box came out so everything was new to me and i thought it deserved a 10.
I also stick by my perfect score for GTA 4. That game was amazing. It only had a few flaws and they were so small i couldn't believe so many people were talking bad about it.
i think that bioshock and oblivion should have gotten 10s but gta4 should have been only a 9.5 or something i would say mass effect should have gotten a 10 but there were some minor problems that would keep it from getting that
mass effect and halo 3. and dont say im a 360 fanboy or anyhting, most 360 fanboys are cod4 fnboys anyway. i can give you a whole bunch of reasons why halo 3 deserves a ten and cod4 doesnt. cod4 is more like a 9. mgs4 is also really amazing and it diserves that 10 single player wise, but since it had multiplayer i had rated that too and combine it with the single player, so in the end its prety much 9 also
Bioshock i would say only because its so innovative.
But really no game deserves a 10 because 10 means perfect or prime or whatever and every game has flaws and no game is 100% innovative. its bound to copy something someone else did.
I agree with the game a lot of people are saying. Bioshock did deserve a 10, just because it was so unlike anything else I had played up until that point. Perhaps the best overall experience I've had in gaming.
TBH a 10 dictates a perfect game which is not possible but for the case of the matter i would say bioshock.....benbonney
A score doesnt dictate anything. Dictate shouldnt even be used when you talk about games for that matter. A game that gets a 10 doesnt mean it's perfect, like MGs4 and GTA IV. It just means those games really blew the reviewers away with awesome-ness. Gears of War should have scored a 10. I play this game more than GTA IV and MGS4 combined in a week. GOW is a 10 in my book.
