Games that you try to get into but cant!

What is a game that you couldn't get into, despite everyone thinking it's the greatest game ever.

You can't have just played the first level or a demo, but actually TRIED to like it.

Mine would be Bioshock.. I don't like it at all.

What is a new game (not a sequel where you've played previous ones) where you fell into right away?

Mine would be Left 4 Dead.

I tried to enjoy Lost Planet, I even put a few hours into into it but I just thought it was a crummy game. Prototype sucked me in hook, line and sinker.

Just couldn't get into Fallout 3. The game sucked up too much time and didn't feel like I was getting rewarded for that time spent. I'd spend hours playing and have virtually stood still in character advancement.

I fell into Resident Evil 5. I know it's a sequel but it was the only RE game I've ever played and I just loved it from the start.

Can't get into Gears of War for some reason. But i fell into Dark Sector and totally enjoyed it!

prototype and red faction guerrilla. sadly. ill end up trading both games that i havent even beatin a couple of days cuz im hella broken and i need the cash to buy Batman AA

I tried to get into Gears 2 multiplayer but just couldn't

I could not get into bioshock, killzone 2, or resistance FOM. I could not even finish killzone or bioshock and resistance was painful to finish. They all seem like good games I just did not like them for reasons unknown to me.

i couldn't get into half-life 2, half-life 2 episode1, episode2, i really got into mass effect and gears very easilyvp22

Gears of War 2 is fun but I just can't get into the Multiplayer.
It's also frustrating that it's not an FPS.

Mass effect. Everyone says its a brilliant game but i think its a piece of crap to be honest

Same here with Oblivion. Also, I may be the only person in the world who didn't love GTA4 and stopped playing it midway through.

I cannot get into Halo 3. I tried, I really did, everyone likes the game it seems to be popular but I just couldn't get into it.

A game I fell into, I can get into just about any game from Nintendo really quick, for example Animal Crossing, Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Bros, etc. But as far as the Xbox I haven't really had any games that I have found addicting yet, though I've not had a chance to play much on some of my new games, so once I get more time with them that might change a little. I thought I would be addicted to Forza 2, but that really hasn't been the case yet. Oddly enough, I got the Bee Movie game and found it to be a lot of fun, a lot more fun than I was ever expecting.

I have a few and based on the single-player this is what I think:

BioShock - The setting and the story seems really intersting, but the gameplay is boring.

Bionic Commando - This game seems cool, but it got boring after after awhile.

F.E.A.R. - This game on the 360 S.U.C.K.S. but on the PC it is a really great game.

Fable: The Lost Chapters - Too childish and boring.

Fable II - It seems to be better than the first, but still kinda boring.

Far Cry 2 - Just WAY too much driving around. This game could have been soo much better then it is.

Gears of War - I really really like shooters, but this I just can't get into and I really do not know why but I have tried and tried to like it and I don't.

Prototype - This game seems cool, but it got boring after after awhile.

Saints Row - Just a GTA wannbe and it sucks, now GTAIV is a really great game compared to this.

Test Drive Unlimited(online) - This game graphics looks great, but man it is really really boring.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - People said that this is better than the first, but I don't think so atleast not yet from what I have played.

I still can't get into Farcry and Oblivion. Eternal Sonata and Mass effect, on the other hand, sucked me in.

Im sorry for saying this but, I couldnt get into oblivion, mass effect or HALO 3

assassins creed, couldnt get into that game

I couldnt get into Oblivion either (hopefully the talk of a sequel is true and i can get into it) alsoFar Cry because they put cool things into the game but they also took stuff out that made the first one good.

I really got into Left 4 Dead also and Assassins Creed, something about silently killing someone that makes you feel good

Assassin's Creed. I've tried both the 360 and the PC version, but it just bores me.
