What are some good games to play with a girlfriend? She isn't a gamer so it should be simple and fun to pick up. I'm guessing probably not Gears of War or anything intense.

I first introduced my girlfriend to Halo 3, then Gears 1, Lego Star Wars, and then Fable 2. Basically anything co-operative where she'll feel like she's at the center of the action. Just picked up Gears 2 and we're going to play that tonight so Fable 2 will be on the back burner for a little while. :)

Definately try something like Rock Band or Fable 2. Alot of women go for something with a story that will draw them in.

I bought Castle Crashers just to play it with her. She loved it!

We´re playing Gears 2 right now. She got used to it pretty quick!

These are games my gf enjoys

halo 3 (she plays a lot, but isn't very good:P)

rock band or GH

Soul calibur IV

DDR

basically, don't pick anything really complex (like COD4(5?) or Gears 2) because they could be harder to pick up and play for most women. Also, anything that you can play through co-op or XBL would help.

Hahaha, you tell me, buddy. I can't get my girl to game with me. It's like pulling teeth.

She will play Rock Band with me so she can 'sing'. And just just picked up Fable 2.

She's really not that good at Fable, and she really won't touch FPS or anything that uses both analog sticks. lol

It depends on the girl. My girl actually picked up GTAIV and beat it, and she's not even a big gamer at all. But mostly she likes to play stuff like spyro/crash bandicoot etc. Also, she liked castle crushers too, I'd bet on that it seems ot be popular with gfs.

i think he means VIDEOgames. but honestly, girls LOVE rockband and guitarhero nowadays. Some like oldschool duckhunt, sonic and super mario. and almost EVERY girl nowadays wants a wii so they can play Wii sports or WiiFit or something.

Anything co op! I would recommend any of the Lego series games. Perhaps even start with the classics on XBL, like pac-man etc. so she can become familiar with using the controller and then merge to games like Halo.

My girlfriend loves Call of duty 4, even though shes pretty bad. Anytime I sit down to play she'll join me and we'll go round for round. I don't mind, because I get to play it more often without her nagging me to do something else.

I recently picked up Fable 2, and she loves it. Has her own character with like 4 husbands. Doesn't care for the questing stuff, but loves the social/economical aspect.

She's also really good at the blacksmithing, so she raked me in a huge amount of cash (i got bored in about 5 minutes doing that crap) just because she found it fun.

Also plays guitar hero, lego indiana jones (less "nerdy" to her then star wars), the simpsons game, scene it. I picked these up for relatively cheap (minus GH...) and they are relatively fun games that you can play with her. Lego games are actually pretty entertaining, and great because there's no real way to "lose".

Before we were together, she played the Sims and Harvest Moon. Hated "gamers". Now she plays almost as much as me.

baldur's gate is fun for a more mindless hack and slash. We had a lot of fun with Marvel Alliance, I recommend turning off the competitive mode if she isn't a gamer (it displays the stats at the end of the level and can be pretty demoralizing if you aren't a gamer). The Lego games are a lot of fun, and will definitely help you with your communication skills.
