Games with EPIC stories?

hey guys, could you throw out some ideas for game with some great stories?? good stories IMO: dead space, mass effect

please don't say games like oblivion i want games with an EPIC story, and decent acting. also post any upcoming releases that you might want to shed light on please!

I think you will like Dragonage: Origins probably

Lost Odyssey has a great story I've heard. Upcoming games are obviously Mass Effect 2 and maybe Alpha Protocol will have a great story as well. I also believe Deus Ex 3 will probably have a good one. Other then that, nothing is coming up with a great story.

Though, if you think Dead Space has a good story then basically anything has a good story. I'd check out Fable, Splinter Cell Conviction etc. if that's the case.

Star Wars: KOTOR is an oldie but a goodie, as is baldur's gate 2. Tales of vesperia was an epic game imo but I wouldn't call the story epic.

IMO the game with the best storyline,althought it is really old but everyone who has played it says that its the best RPG ever, is Planescape: Torment for the PC,but I havent heard of an upcoming game with a good storyline besides what has been mentioned.OOHH......I just remembered that ALAN WAKE is supposed to have an EPIC storyline
