I think that Prey/Bioshcok/Call of Duty 4 had very good endings

I liked the Halo 3 ending. I knew they were going to have something interesting fisnishing off the trilogy. It wasn't just going to be Master Chief, Sergeant Johnson, and Commander Keyes sitting around throwing back beers, high fiving, "Yeah! We won! We kicked the Covenant's ass!" No, it was going to be something different. I liked how you ended up back in the freezer just like in the first game.

Of course, I went back and beat it on Legendary, and got that weird ending where you're falling towards that planet with all the Christmas lights on it. I don't know what that's about.

yea i agree halo 3 had a good ending but i didnt want the series to end

I'm still working on BioShock and The Darkness, and I heard that these games had great endings (can't wait). I really liked Halo 3's ending. At first, I saw the regular ending so it was really sad. I thought Halo series was over (lol). But later on, I was able to unlock the Legendary ending so I found a new hope. I cant wait for the next installment. Other honorable mentions would be Call of Duty 4 and Mass Effect. ME's ending was unforgettable.

FF10 was pretty good, I liked Halo 1 as well.

Guild Wars factions for PC was pretty sweet

COD4, The Darkness, Bioshock, Jak 2-3, GOW2, Elder Scrolls, FFX, and i cant remember any more

DMC 4 was pretty good i guess, same DMC sty-le which i like.

Halo 3 was a pretty good ending

There wasnt an ending though IMO that really just stuck out outside of Portal though. And portal was only that good cause it was funny.

Oh we can do non 360 games, ok then.

To those who wrote Bioshock had a great ending .... urrrrmmm pardon? i finished it 2 times and both endings were pretty dull, nothing awesome about it. Did i miss something?

3- Devil may cry 3 ( I cried when I saw this one ( yes people ARABS MAY CRY ) IM an arab so that is NOT an insulte )

4- KH 2 ( the song in the end was ULTRA coooooooooool )

5- half life 2 ( it was like playing half a game )

6- portal ( the CAKE IS A LIE )

7- GTA : SAN ANDREAS ( IM THE KING OF THE WORLD )

Also Prey (360), The Mark of Kri (PS2), Gears of War (360), and Saint's Row (360) all had descent endings.

The "bad" ending is just muh, but the "good" ending is quite touching imo.

I like the ending in COD4 but the best part is in the middle. The section right after the nuke goes off and you die. I don't think I've ever "died" in a game before. If I have it was never like that. I was suprised and impressed. Good job IW!

Here's some food for thought - HITMAN: BLOOD MONEY

I hated but I loved Saints Row's ending, The Darkness had a sad ending, Half-life 2 episode 2 didn't see that coming! Halo 3 can't wait for bungie's next game wether it has anything to do with Master Chief or not

halo3 ending was good, lots of emotion at the end of that, something alot of games lack.

cod4 was ok.

final fantasy 7 was good

oh and parasite eve the first one.

oh and silent hill the first one, the ending where you play all the way through and you have to kill your own daughter and then the ending simply shows you died in the car crash at the very beginning of the game, and you just lived out your own personal hell. that was an intense ending. prolly one of my favorites.

My favorite ending was for KOTOR that was just an awesome story. Also Mass Effect of course, Portal, STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl was really interesting, and Half Life 2. IMO Bioshock was an excellent game with an awesome story but it seems like they couldn't really think of an ending so they just threw out some random thing based on whether you were nice or not and in turn answered none of the questions that still lingered.IISF-SniperII
