Games you don't think deserved hate?

Let's face it, almost all of us like a game a lot of people seem to trashtalk or dislike, for whatever reason, but we still like the game. It may be a great game to us, it may just pretty good, in the end we still try to defend it. What are some of your games you don't like seeing trashtalked?

Firstly, I'd like to say I only own 5 retail xbox 360 games, as I bought her back in October, so I haven't played many games yet. But my first pick is Infinite Undiscovery, a JRPG from Square Enix.

Hear me out! The lip synch is horrible, okay, I admit that. I'm not sure of the reason..Low budget? Laziness? Who knows. The lips are synched to the japanese voices even in the english version, so obviously it looks a little weird. However, that aside, the game is pretty good. Not amazing, nothing spectacular, but good. The combat is very fun, a mix of FF12 with Star Ocean. The characters are, for the most part, well developed and likeable, with the exception of a few ANNOYING AS SOMETHING ANNOYING ones, and then near the end of the game you get two or three completely pointless characters. I'll stop my rambling here and say it's not bad, it's not great, but it's good... Shouldn't be getting so much bad rep.

Next is Farcry 2... I mean... Why? Why do you think this is bad? Or...How? I mean, the multiplayer could be better, yeah, sure, but the single player is epic! Trust me, I played through it twice. :D

I love TLR, and if you can put up with loading times and texture problems, im sure any RPG fan would too. I for one do not think that it deserved all of the bad rep.

I LOVE the last remnant. Going for 1000 GS. Installing it makes it much better and just fine to me. I dont want perfection , I want fun. TLR is difficult and fun. Infinite Undiscovery was badass to me too. I can look past the lip synch, the battle system was awesome especially with more then one team next to you at the end. Watching th eother team fight was badassLanceSSJ

It wasn't Perfect but it was good. The night time levels were not as bad as reviewers made it out to be. And I cant believe it got 3.5 on gamespot :o .

It deserves around 7.5

Too Human- the problem with this game was that everyone hyped it so much. Stop hyping! I used to hype games and that's why I hated Halo 3. Ever since, I stoped caring about review scores and previews. I watch vids and I play demos. I decide what I play and no one else decides that for me. Sorry for the rant, long story cut short Too human is not as bad as Gamespot says it is.

I also have to agree with The Force Unleashed.. My only problems with it were the odd glitches(One time one of the bosses literally fell through the floor, forcing me to kill myself), and the short length. But the short time was definitely a fun time.

I agree. Mine freezes sometimes though, but ahwell Its a great game

I'd have to go with Too Human. This game got ripped apart for a few issues that shouldnt have been such a big deal. It seems that every once in a while reviewers decide to trash a game without much justification.

Also, I read a few people put the Darkness, which I've actually never heard anyone say they dislike, it just doesnt seem to get recognized as the awesome game that it is, because a lot of people never played it.

Bullet Witch.

IMO, Gears of War 2 was a 7/10 game, and so was Bullet Witch. I just found Bullet Witch to be a more fun 7/10 game.

Perfect Dark Zero. Sure, the campaign wasn't that great, but the multiplayer is. Going co-op is fun, and the Dark Ops modes are very good.mitu123

The only reason I liked Perfect Dark Zero was for its bots in multiplayer everything else was bad imo.

gta 4 - it's a great game, it's just that it was the reviewers fault for giving it ridiculously high scores, so people are expecting too much from games. when people got their hands on this game, they were dissapointed because it didn't live up to it's expectation.

the darkness - sure, it's repetitive and short, but it's still a good game. the storyline is great, the graphics are good and it's enjoyable to use the power of the darkness.

GTAIV that game sure it has it's flaws but the amount of hate this game get's its getting tiresome for me its not boring.. IMO the voice acting are top notch the story are strange but funny..Niko belic is an awesome game character.foreverflame890
