What are you talking about? AO2 came out yesterday, and it's typical for games to take a week before getting the reviews released. Skate, DMC4, Orange Box, etc... all had reviews released a week after shipping. Very few titles, maybe 1 of 10, are reviewed the day they come out. Pay attention to future reviews, but mark my words when R6V2 and GTA4 don't have reviews until a week after we've been playing them.

Yes, because their job doesn't involve actually testing out each game thouroughly before rendering a verdict, right?

From a mod posted on a different board:

You must not be aware of the many highly-publicized departures at GameSpot. With the losses of Jeff Gerstmann, Alex Navarro, Ryan Davis, and Jason Ocampo, along with a prominent freelancer, very few people have been creating the review content you see on the site. We appreciate your patience as we look to fill those positions with quality gaming journalists. In the meanwhile, the scant reviews team will be doing its best to bring you accurate reviews in as timely a manner as possible.Kevin-V

Well, what is up with the Front Lines review? That game has been out for a week now and I have already played it backwards and forwards.

Frontlines: FoW is a perfect example - it's been out a while now and still no review to be found. Typically sites such as this are given final builds of a game a few days before it ships in order to get the review completed by the time the game is on store shelves - it's called publicity and it helps drive sales. Army of Two is another good example of a big name game that should have a review posted by today and no later than tomorrow, but that's not gonna happen. Come on Gamespot, get it together.

I dunno, they shouldn't of make a review for games like Lost.

When I saw they reviewed it, the first thing I thought was, "There is a Lost GAME??"

As for their timing, they released a review for Devil May Cry 4 the day BEFORE it came out.
