Gamespot Two Worlds release date not accurate?

Hey, i checked the gamespot release date for Two Worlds and it said August 21st. However, Xbox.com states it will be out on the 14th as well as Futureshop (an electronics store in Canada). I am assuming that xbox.com's August 14this the accuratedate of the release of Two Worlds? This is sorta a question/heads-up about Two Worlds.

Those who have been following Two Worlds.....rather unique path to release know that almost nobody can be sure what its real release date is. I thought I was gonna get it on the 1st. Than the 14th. Now the 21st. It keeps getting pushed back. I doubt it will be released tommrow because almost every retailer has stated the 21st. I've alos heard of southpeak confirming the 21st but there webmaster must be lazy and hasn't updated the site yet. It was supposed to be on in the UK on the 10th. Its not. That site is wrong.

Do yourself (and the dev's) a favor and do not buy the dumb game...chandlerr_360

That sucks, everyone has different opinions of when it will come out i guess so far i have seen 20 (exactly) different release dates set for the 14th (including xbox.com), 12 different release dates of the 21st and about 6 saying the 28th. Could 360 and Pc versions have different release dates set?

Not trying to whine and complain. But it is interesting how there are 3 different opinions on the release date, Microsoft Xbox division saying the 14th and the official website saying the 28th. I guess only time will tell, im heading out to check in the morning so ill post my finds Tomorrow.

Oh my God, why can't Southpeak have just made one set date instead of telling everyone else different? just saw an ad for Two Worlds being released on the 24th! As of now i have seend 4 different release dates for the xbox 360 version of Two Worlds.nevernight490

I saw that,at first I was like WTH!?,hopefully it comes out the 14th and not the 21st,but I would rather have the 21st than the 24th....

Yeah, if it comes out august 21st, 24th or 28th ill be so mad because it is too close to school to enjoy the game.

Here is some info to argue about!

1.Futureshop (Canadian Electronics Store) and EBGames have instore ads for Two Worlds being released on the 14th.

2.Xbox.com has the official release date of the 360 version for the 14th.

3.Random internet ad says Two Worlds is being released August 24th.

4.Official Website states release date is the 21st.

5.Some websites state the release date is the 28th.

6. European Verison has been already released! (according to a Q&A thread on a website).

Why would Xbox.com have a different release date then official website? Xbox would be notified of a delay and the Xbox Team would have changed the site to show the new release date would they not? Why would Xbox sit by and watch Two Worlds be delayed and notupdate their website?

I have a theory that this could be a marketing plot, give out different release dates and not reveal which one is correct in order to attract attention from the consumers, to get people asking the stores "When is Two Worlds being released?" But, its just a theory.

I'm gonna put my faith in Xbox.comhavingthe proper release date.

Also, you would think a store would buy the copies of Two Worlds and get an exact date for the release? Like, wouldn't the stores that ordered them know when the games were coming out for sure? Eliminate the delays from the question, assuming the retail store would correct their advertisements due to being informed of a delay.
