Gamestop pre order question

if you preorder at one store, can you pick it up at another with the money taken off that you layed down?

Why can't you call the store and ask them?

And the answer is no you can't because when you preorder one the warehouse sends it to the store to be set aside for you.

Call them and tell them to just move your order, all done.

Yep, I've done it before. I pre-ordered Left 4 Dead 2, took the money I already put down and bought Dragon Age: Origins.

pretty sure that is not the case. More like, Store X has 50 copies for release. 35 are set aside for preorders and 15 are first-come first-serve. Something like that.
