How many of you bring/brought your video games to college. Some of my friends are saying how they are going to stop playing once they go to college. I plan on gaming for the rest of my life. Did any of you stop or have friends who did?

lol. all it is about control. and with college usually you get your due dates for stuff way way ahead of schedule so

GET THAT WORK DONE NOW FOOL!!!

young people can't keep control of their self's with all that freedom they have then when they was in high school.

for new comers i say sit it to the side or try limit your slf much as you can untill you learn to accept that freedom

I didn't stop playing it, but there were times I wouldn't game for maybe a week or a tad longer depending on how school was going. And to be honest I think I play more during college because unlike High school I currently don't have a job (ok I am a full time student... that is my job) and I have a 3.7 gpa (only As and Bs). All people have to do is learn that there will be times they need to not play games and focus on school.

I have mine and still play it from time to time. My roommates (I don't live on campus. Three friends and I split the rent for an apartment near campus though) are the ones who use it the most though. They also buy most of the DLC and arcade games. :P

I have noticed that since I started college (back in 2008 ) I play way less. Its not that I don't have time its just that I prefer to go out instead.

I'm a graduate student and I live with my parents, so I play my 360 and Wii at home.

That's a tough question and would really all depend on your addictive nature of playing. I have friends who do nothing and play games while going to school, and they stay up really late and skip class, don't do homework etc. They failed out and had to go home. Then someone like me, I will do my work first; read, homework, projects, then I'll jump on and play. I'm currently on my 6th year of college, my last year woot, and I would say hold off on it your first semester/year to get aclimated becuase those intro classes are deisgned to weed you out. My opinion take it or leave it, If it were me, I don't go anywhere without a computer or xbox.
