Gears 1 question.

I'm on Act 4 on the first Gears, and I'm at the part where you're supposed to kill the Seeder outside of the building.

I know that you're supposed to get a Hammer, but the problem is, I can't find one. I took the route where you're supposed to clear the outside of the building, not the inside.

I tried reading some guides, but all of them took the left route, the one leading into the building.

If anyone can help me, it'd really be appreciated. :]

Once you clear the first are go to where the Seeder is. Press Y and it should show you the Hammer of Dawn next to the planter. Other than that just restart that act. Your right in the beginning of it anyways.
