I have all the achievements from Gears 1 required to unlock A. Carmine, Raam, and Lt. Kim...but they are all still locked. Any clue why? It seems like it's just not recognizing those achievements...or is there something simple that I'm over looking? Please inform me! :?
My bro had a simliar problem, we would both be signed in on the xbox, but and the start menu I would always be the one to hit start, he never did and was wondering why he didnt have the characters I did, so all he did was hit start on the main menu and he unlocked them. You might have a different problem though.
i know it sucks but i would delete the gears 2 saves completely from my HD and try again maybe it was a glitch or something from having 2 people signed in the first tim you played the game.

You might actually be right....omg. Now that I think about it, the 1st night I played was with a friend. We did Co-op. My tag had the achievements and his didn't. It probably confused the game and left me in this situation. Epic fail.
It could be you got them with having a different gamertag

Na. If I hit the menu button while signed in to my tag, I can go to "view games" then I can see the unlocked achievements under Gears 1 that it calls for to have those characters. But that's as far as I get =(
Idk. I've never changed my tag name. It's always been the same. All the achievements I've gotten have been under that name. So I don't see why it wouldn't pick those up.
I'm just gonna call Epic and when they answer I'm gonna say, "Epic fail." Then I'm gonna hang up. And they will know why...they will.
But seriously, if anyone has ANY information that might help that DOESN'T involve deleting saves or achievements, PLEASE let me know. I gotta get the old Carmine back. Gotta.
Have you played any of the campaign yet? They didn't pop up for me until after I played some of the campaign, restarted the system, and booted the game back up.
Then, at the start screen you'll see 3 boxes pop up telling you that you have the characters. But, maybe there's something else wrong with you.:?
The first time I popped in the Gears 2 disc and went to the main menu the message popped up informing me that I unlocked Raam, Carmine and Kim. But think about it. You can zip through Gears 1 in a day and find all the COG tags. If all else fails, do that.
*sigh* I guess that's what I'll have to do. My Gears 1 stuff is REALLY wierd anyway. I have the achievements for beating it on insane, but when I go to start a new campaign it still has the insane difficulty locked even though I've already beaten it on that difficulty in the past. So I'm not sure what's going on with it. I'll do some more research. This seems like a very unique case that isn't going to have a simple fix. Dooky.
