Somehow I believe that the locust's fooled the humans into blowing up Jacinto, and it was what they wanted the whole time.

Or, because of what the queen said, Adam could be on the Locusts side.

When you sank Jacinto you flooded the Locusts stronghold, defeated the Lambant and the Locust at the same time. However, somehow this was not what Adam Fenix wanted, as if Marcus had ruined Adams genius plan. Then if I may quote a few lines from the queens monologue from the beginning: " ...but as always, the humanity has brought this war upon itself." This implies that humanity started the war with the Locust themselves and I have a theory how they did that. In the beginning, the queen speaks about countless civil-wars amongst the humanity. That they, the humans that is, fought endless wars for glory and power. However one day a brute force rose up from beneath the surface of Sera and forced the humanity to suddenly join forces. Now you may wonder, how did the humans start the war with the Locust?

Well I believe that during the civilwars, some side planned to create a biological weapon, an all powerful weapon that would with ease annihilate the opposing side. However someone stopped their evil plans and that man, his name was Adam Fenix. In his lab, along with his fellow scientists he knew what they was about to do, create a weapon so powerful that the ones who controlled it would be unstoppable. Adam could not let this happen, Adam could not let the evil humans have this weapon orders, so he betrayed the humans and created something else, the Locusts. However the Locusts needed a mastermind, someone who could control them and give the orders. With this person the whole species was controlled, and Adam used someone he knew and trusted exceptionally well to be entrusted with this duty. He and the Queen then made a deal, exterminate the evil humans on Sera and then once they were dead, the Locusts would then inherit Sera and never fight the humans again.

But now, when the Locust is more crippled than ever before, the evil humans can rise again and defeat the all powerful Locust and once they are defeated once more start fighting for glory and power. However this theory does not include the Lambant who seems to be the Locusts real enemy and I have thought about a new theory that seems more plausible. Humans created the Locust, an all powerful weapon and Adam used his colleague to control the Locust. However she turned her back on Adam and planned to use her powers to take over the world. Adam then regretted that he ever trusted the Queen so he then created the Lambant, who then would defeat the Locusts, but now that Jacinto has been sunk and have killed all of the Lambants, there is no way to defeat the Locusts anymore, thereby the words "Marcus Fenix, What have you done?".

Summary: Humans created the Locust as a weapon but the Locust turned their back on its maker and is about to take over the world. Seems pretty "original" to me /sarcasm

see what i think is adam fenix created the locust by accident...because the locust queen is obviously human or at least once was and i think adam and her created the locust

my 2nd theory is that the kantus are the REAL locust and that adam and the locust queen turned humans with the help of skorge and the kantus into drones...but the whole thing about the lambent drones fighting back just kinda ruins alot of theories out there....
