Gears 2 story discussion.. Whats in hold for Gears 3?+ SPOILERS +

So now that we've all finished the gears 2 ( Well, I sure hope so), and we've all heard what Adam Fenix had to say after the credits ( You better have), whattyou thinks going on? I mean, first came the Sires, which I believe to be humans and Locust combined, then comes the Locust Queen speaking of Adam Fenix as though he was on the Locust side ( she said " its too bad you didn't follow in your fathers footsteps). Then, after we hear Adam's voice in the Locust computers saying that the only way to destroy the Hollow ( Locust home), was to sink Jacinto, andthen at the end of the game he says" WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" as if they shouldn't have done it? Was itall a set up? Did the Queen purposly put Adam's voice into the computers, knowing Marcus would find it, and sink Jacinto, all infavour of the Queen? Tell me what you think. Whats youropinion?

I don't care, I'm just happy that we won't have to hear Dom cry about Maria the entire time.

Also, hopefully they bring in a 10 year old to write the story. The last 5 year old they hired did a terrible job with Gears 2..

i think gears 2 online is so funtho no need for gears 3, just new free maps mabey a weapon hear and there, and ovcourse NO MORE LOST CONNECTION TO HOST

they need to do a prequal, we have no idea why u start off in jail, why the locust attacked, etc. both stories have done terrible jobs of having us figure out wtf is goin on. also if they make the story which i bet they are into that the locust were made by humans to try and create super soldiers or somthin like that then that is a terrible idea and its like they took the easy way (done a million times in movies and games) way out of explaining the story.2pac_makaveli

The story in GOW isn't deep at all. I only care about the multiplayer in GOW cause the campaign is ok, but I thought it was better in GOW 2

After seeing how Epic jacked Geow 2up I just can't seem to get excited. When i think of Gears of War 1 or 2 it just feels old now.

I think Marcus was in jail because he left his post to save his dad so they Court-martialed him and though him in jail.

I hope the 3rd Gears is written better, the 2nd one didn't have the same feel as the 1st and I love the first Gears of War.

1) That's why Halo's story is always given props in it's reviews, right?

2) Nice assumption that you think since I have a Master Chief sig/avy that I think Halo has a good story. You fail AGAIN.

Halo 3 has beengiven props for it's story?.... no it hasn't. All reviews i've read about Halo 3 have said that it's story isn't deep enough. Besides, near the end of Halo 3 I didn't understand a single thing.

If you read Aspho Fields and look up the GOW story then you'll find that it's story is better than Halo's.
