Wow, are you ever late. This was confirmed a loooong time ago. And yes, I REALLY hope the servers aren't crappy. Don't wanna be let down by this game. :(
yeah and lets hope cliffy b figures out the multiplayer this time and makes it playable

I'm going to be the defender of Cliff here again. Have you seen any of the interviews of him concerning Gears 3? He readily admitted that they made mistakes with the multiplayer of Gears 2. And he is aware of the gamer feedback from the past games. Contrary to what everyone seems to believe, the developers do listen to what people like us say in the forums and they do take it to heart. Which is why they are putting such an emphasis on improving it this time around. This is why they're having a Beta. He also understands that they are one of the few exclusives for the Xbox this year and he does understand the weight of expectations are on their shoulders. I have full confidence that they will make the multiplayer experience better.
old news, having dedicated servers will be alot better, and will stop all the f*****g squabbling about, "your host thats why you won". I've played games where I haven't been host and still kicked a***. Just because your host don't mean you automatically win, you still have to play well.
