I am playing through Gears 2 on Insane (beat it on Hardcore with no real snags. I am playing the Chapter "Hive" and the part "No Turning Back." I am at the part where the lift full of Palace Guards and Maulers. I kill them all, and then the cut scene rolls where the lambent try to board the lift that we just cleared. However, in the middle of the cutscene, the Mission Failed screen pops up and I have to try it again. I can't really say I have ever failed a mission mid-cutscene before.

Any ideas?

something like this has happened to me many times. when I fought Skorge when he cut the chandelier down. as soon as the chandelier fell down in the cut scene, I died. I just kept pressing reload checkpoint. of course, I only died a few times, so just keep trying :D

Looks like I am going to have to start the chapter over...it keeps happening without fail.

Only glitch i rly had on cmpaign was yesterday on the first part of Act 5 (beat insane yesterady 2 =]) it's at some part where you shoot at the locusts from the building w/ mulchers that r behind you and when you kill them all you this bridge comes out and connects you to another building. I was walking w/ the bridge as it was going out and i got stuck in the floor of it =/ i could rool to nowhere and take cover on nothing so i had to w8 for my partner to go way ahead so i would 'poof' to him. And shortly after i get my 150G =]

I finally got through this part by playing it on Co-op. For whatever reason, it got through the cut scene no problem while I was playing with someone else. Got my 150 GS for beating it on insane.

duz any1 know why i keep doing funny glitches when playing gow2, firstly i was playing horde with three others when in the middle of wave 42 i got horde the horde achievement ,for completing 50 waves nobody else got it tho,then my gun just stopped needing to be reloaded giving me a permanent supply of bullets which was good but i didnt know why,i am able to carry two shields around and use any gun,i stepped out of a door once and was walking around the sky with the kryll and my co op buddy cudnt find me,these kind of things are always happening to me at different times when i play but no one else,any ideas??
