do you think that sometime before the release of Gears of War 2 we can expect a demo? I really hope so, since the game looks amazing and I would really like to have a demo to hold me over until it releases.
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Epic said that there will be no GoW 2 demo before the release of the game. Maybe one after, but I'm pretty sure not before
I'm going to assume their won't be since there really is no reason to release a demo. Demos are a sort of promotional item and Gears 2 will not have any problem selling.
ikm sorry everyone your wrong. I dont remember which video i saw but in an interview with Cliffy B he announces there will be a demo for the fanss, just like Halo 3

Halo 3 wasn't a demo, it was a beta.
Back to Gears-I don't think there was a demo for the first one, I doubt there will be a demo for this one.
Pretty sure you don't need a demo as the core mechanics of the game arent changing from Gears 1. If you've played Gears 1 you can expect a lot more of the same, with some improvements (not that this is a bad thing).
a demo does exist or did exist atleast....i was at my girlfriends house last night and i have a 360 over there which her lil bro plays on and he has a gamertag and we finally decided to play some games on it last night and he had a message from july 20 from one of his friends inviting him to play "Gears of War 2 Demo" thats what it said just like that....so i dont know
If they do it should just be an online one because that was the only semi-weak point on the last game and if they can prove they have solid gameplay for that then there will be no stopping Gears 2.
