yes, i cant stand not being able to find a game. ive been trolling forums for about a hour now and ive been in its matchmaking queue the whole time, i watch it find all of my team members in about 30 seconds for guardian-submission then it goes on for about 3-5 minutes *depending on how patient my team members are* and cant find a opposing team, someone leaves; find the replacement in a matter of seconds, and cant find an opposing team, i can leave my xbox on for over an hour, come back and still be in the same queue. its impossible for me to ever find an opposing team *longest ive gone searching for one is 45 minutes guardian, 30 mins wingman*
Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's crap. Just gotta go with the flow.

yea, it appears that way, sunday morning i got into games within a minute to two tops, ive been trying to get in games ever sense then and ive had success about... 3 times? maybe?
i dont get these posts.. I never have a problem, by myself, with a team of 2-5, with a team of 3, with a team of monkeys. I rarely, if ever, have a problem longer then five minutes... and thats pushing it-- It normally takes two minutes tops.
me and many other people dont have problems finding matches its not always the game sometimes its your internet.

i thought of that but its somewhat strange that noone of my other call of duty games nor any of my PC games have any trouble what so ever with connecting to games, GOW 1 doesnt give me this problem nor halo 3 which it too, has a matchmaking system. if it is my internet though, im open for trying any suggestions if anyone has one?
i guess you just need almost a perfect internet connection to easily play gow 2, which is something i dont really have, ive got a pretty decent connection, not horrible, but not amazing

Im no expert but i hear stories all the time about people having problems with games do to the ISP and router settings there are a ton of things that could be effecting why it takes so long for you to find a game all i know is that its not normal and most people have no problem finding games quickly. Other games might be different because they use different internet ports and such.
If it gets hung up for more than a couple of minutes, cancel it and let it search again. That always works for me. If you have a full team and it takes more than 3 minutes to find another team...get out of there.
Try the more popular gametypes during slow hours, like Execution/Warzone.

hmm, perhaps if i change my routers settings it will work
