I just found out that Gears 2 will have parental controlls on it. You can turn off the blood and gore and switch it with sparks. And you can also take out the language. This is kinda weird. XD

Anyone else hear this? Or is this old news? :x

So whats the big deal? Your mommy won't let you play the game with all the blood and gore? The first gears had an option where you could turn off the blood, so this isn't big news at all. Personally, this game is nothing without all the blood and gore, thats what make it an awesome game.

Well that sucks, now parents are going to say: "Gee this game has parental controls, I can let my high pitch voiced little child go on xbox live and annoy everyone on there! Neat!"

There are plenty of things besides blood that makes the game awesoe. Reading your post tells me you are a pre-teen or 14, so you should also not be playing it.

Im 23. who are you to tell me my age? I know there are plenty of other things that make it a good game but without the blood and gore, the game would'nt be as popular as it is.

I personally think that's dumb, because Gears is a mature game, for mature gamers... not 10 year olds whose parents bought it for them and turned the blood off. That's not that big of a deal, I know, but when you take multiplayer into consideration, you might have more of these kids on here. This feature really doesn't affect me, but I just don't want the Gears community to turn into a Halo 3 community with a bunch of little snot-nosed brats.
