I am currently a 22 (after monotonous hours of regaining levels) in GOW2. I was recently a 29 after my rank reset on June 17th (right after the live update that took 24 hours). I returned to my xbox with this reluctant status shown on my screen: 1 xXKscottXx 315.......................................... WOW. Is there anything I can do? Or at least advice if messaging EPIC would be worth the time? I'm desperate because I have the skill of a 35 (which I should be regardless) and I'm given credit for only a 22. Please help.
Honestly, rank means nothing to me in gears 2. The only reason I would try to increase my rank was to get achievements. In actual skill, ranks is nothing more than show how much time you spent playing the game. I see amazing players all the time below level 10.
Thats deviating from my initial question. I need to know if I can message EPIC and expect results or if I do am I wasting my time? I like rank because I have friends that joke with me about my 22, and having 35 rank status. Its really getting old. Please help.....
Just play a game where ranking up acctually matters and gives you weapons (cod, bad company) I mean really gears 2 doesn't even have a SYMBOL just a dull life less number next to your name. Half of the fun is getting a cool symbol. The other half is unlocking cool weapons.
I guess your the only one that cares that much about it bro. It's just a number, it doesn't prove that your better or anything. I'm a 26, but I'm only decent at gears. Just find a new game that doesn't reset your rank.... might I suggest a COD game? Your not going to get much help in here because your the only one that cares. Sorry!

The Rank in Gears of Wars 2 means, Basically the higher rank you are The more time you play the game. So Dont worry about it I seen people that were like level 100s that couldnt get a kill. Contacting epic wouldn't really help, there are so many errors with the GeOW2 Online they probably get hundreds of complaints daily. Your best option is probably to just do it again :(
I was taken from a 50 to a 1 and all xbox said was because i glitched too much??? WHATEVER! I need help trying to contact someone that can help me get some levels back??? Who did you contact
I've read a lot about this, and I'm really nervous it will happen to me. I just went from 1 to 43 in the last month or so.... Supposedly it will reset if you turn your game on before being signed in? I don't know if it's true or not.
