Gears Of War 3!

Who else can't wait for this game?

Gears Of War is one of my favourite gaming series of all time, it goes up there with Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid and Call Of Duty to me. I loved the first equally as I loved the second one. There are things good and not so good about both that evens them out for me! I am hoping Gears Of War 3 blows the other two out of the water and is the perfect game.I really hope Gears 3 isn't the last one though! I could play the Gears series with the same formula forever just as long as there is enough variety in the Multiplayer maps, Scenery and combat! I can't wait for the third Gears, but when will it actually come out?... also, which is your favourite Gears game? for me, I love both... while Gears 2 has a lot more things to do, a much longer story and a lot more ways to kill enemies than the first, I simply cannot decide because both are instant classics... although I said both, try to avoid Answer number 3, but of course, I have used it so still feel free!...

I may get flamed for this but i'm anticipating Gears of War 3 to be an overhaul ( revamped MP, Campaign, Weaponry) and it may not be a good thing, so im gonna stick with Gears of War 2 until I see a trailer for Gears 3.:|

i hope they dont force it to be a "tactile shorter" because it isnt....hopfuly back to gears of war one style...its how i played gears of war 2 before i sold it.

Not into the online, and gears 2 campaign... owned. I know for a fact gears 1 has better online though.RobboElRobbo

Loved gears of war 1, definately was my favourite game for the 360. I played it like non-stop from when it came out till gears two came out.

I HATE gears of war 2 lol. It completely ruined gears for me. Matchmaking was a dumb idea, it was better hosting your own game, with your own rules, and best of all you could boot the glitchers. Gears of war 2 is just messed up matchmaking, smoke grenades and an ok campaign. Also nobody talks online (but that is because of party chat, can't blame gears 2 for that :P )

EDIT: I should make clear that I'm focusing more on the multiplayer portion of each game. I thoroughly enjoy both campaigns.

Gears 2 > Gears 1 imo

gears 1 multiplayer was so much better than gears 2, the maps werent as good though. Gears 2 campaign was alot better (imho) than gears 1, so it's kind of a toss up.

Are you kidding? Gears of War 2 is such a sorry excuse for a game. That's sad because I think that Gears of War 1 was freaking amazing. I'm not excited for Gears 3 because it will be the sequel to GoW2 and not GoW1.

The first one was...underwhelming, to say the least.

Gears 2 was a huge improvement in the single-player side of things, but the matchmaking for multiplayer was terrible, which is why I decided not to buy it. It should not take 20+ minutes to find a game.

yeah i really liked both there campaigns, however the bullet lag in gears one ruined the online, and the mathmaker has never found me a game in the second game

Both were great, the game-play, music, story, graphics, characters and gore are amazing. Definitely, GOW3 is a must have for me.

Yeah, Epic Games will obviously make the game even better than 2. Which seems impossible, but you would be surprised. I think Cliff Blesinski is a god to the video gaming industry. He'll find something that will be like Horde to throw into the game to put more polish on the already shiny shoe.

ya the Gears of War games are my favorite games especially GoW2...but i can wait for Gears of War 3 i mean Epic still has alot of problems to fix in Gears of War 2 before they can think of making Gears of War 3...and i dont want them to make the same mistakes they did on GoW2 they should take they're time on GoW3.

I have to say that both games are great for the SP, but the MP in GoW2 makes me want to throw my controller every time I play it. Although I was a real fan of the first MP, I still can't get into the pace of the second one, I don't know why it is so hard for me to get a kill sometimes, and that wrecked shotgun, I hate it, it feels like spitting on the others faces rather than giving a powerfull shot.

And I loved the lobby feature in the first one, it's so easy to get into the battle right away, to bad for all the glitches and exploits it had, in the other part is to dificult to get into a game with the horrible matchmaking that the second part has, and the horrible lag, I mean, what the hell Cliff, at least you could give the host to the best connection available within the players... Or maybe the use of dedicated servers??????

Anyway, the campaign in GoW 2 was terrific, loved every single part of it, I really want to get into the MP part, but has been dificult to me, it's a shame because i really love the series. I know that the 3rd campaign will be awesome, but I really wish they fix the MP (Horde is awesome though) and at the end we get a 3rd instalment with real aggregate value.

Gears 1 online was amazing. The setup was proper, unlike Gears 2 stupid matchmaking. I was wondering if they could somehow change it back to the way it used to be. I understand skill levels is a concern, but maybe make servers for Rookies/Intermediate/Skilled so people can work their way up that way. For me it takes forever to find a game! I just want to play!

Gears 2 single player I found better because it's longer, better graphics, better animations. The final boss was retarded though, at least RAAM was a bit of a challenge on insane.

I gotta say Gears Of War 1 as I enjoyed the campaign much more than the 2nd.

I love Gears of War MP but the SP could have been better.

I love Gears of War 2 SP and horde mode but absolutetly HATE the MP.

I'm not very excited over Gears of War 3 after the disappointment Gears 2 was MP wise. I'll probably give it a rent or just borrow it from a friend when it comes out just for the SP.

They were both awesome, but I like GeOW2 more. I hope Epic games will announce Gears of war 3 until E3 2010.
