There has been countless threads like this.......I think its enough :? Anyways, they are 2 completely different games. It is hard to compare them like that.

gears 3 hasn't really rehashed on much from it's own series, just modified.
new beast mode for the series. horde got heavily changed.
Epic at least added a lot of great things, polished everything up, and put in dedicated servers. What did MW3 add? A horde rip-off and.................................................??
Modern Warfare is fun but I prefer Gears of War 3. It just plays better for me personally and let's be honest who doesn't get excited near the end of a round in Gears when it's one on one? Pretty intense moments I've had haha!
You cant really compare these two games, but personally I'd say gears. I've always been a fan of the series. Plus I hate call of duty with a passion. Gears of war has great co-op capabilities and cod is the most unbalanced, repetitive, boring game out there.

I saw your avatar... Before I read this I was sure you gonna say.. "I hate cod!" boo hoo... lol.
I've played all three Gears, but MW3 is my first COD game. I always heard people complain about what a bad game COD is, but I like it a lot. I'm gonna say MW3, and apparently a lot of people feel the same way.
