gears of war and halo3 cant take this 1 game down

UT3 looks cool but compared to gears of wars popularity and Halo 3s massive popularity it wont even come close

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't U3 just a deathmatch type game with no story or real single player mode? If you're talking about multiplayer then you may be correct. Death match games get boring and stale after a little while. I wouldn't brag about a game that's not even out yet.

The game itself may be better, but there is no way it's going to outsell H3. I'm not a big fan of Halo myself, but you have to face the facts... There is a fanbase at least three times larger for H3.

If you ask me, Gears 2 will be the best game of the three.

Well, you know how big Halos fanbase is well Unreal Tournament has had that many fans for about 10 years so I'm banking it will probably surpass both as well.

Ok, but now that Online play is big on consoles and Unreal 3 is going to have kicka** MP its going to blow both of those games out of the water.

Gears has now sold 5 million copies, the game is also different than other shooters out there. And Halo 3 has 4 million pre-orders.

I'm only interested in Single player FPS, (Halo 3 or Bioshock)

Also mt PC is crap, it can't play any PC games that are coming out this year and next....

Unreal Tournament 3 is a timed exclusive for the ps3, with no release date on xbox 360. Its not as if its exclusive for a couple of months. Its exclusive until atleast next year. If you have been reading the discussion you would know that the game is being compared to Halo 3. Halo 3 comes out around the same time that UT3 comes out on the ps3 genius.

Hmmm....I have no interest in clogging up the forums with useless arguments with you. All I was trying to do was point out the fact that you are the one who brought up a game nobody was talking about (BioShock) and a system that nobody was talking about (PS3). This discussion was in regards to Unreal being better then Halo and Gears of War. The topic poster did not say that Unreal was better then Halo and Gears because it was on the PS3. He said it in a general sense. The game is indeed coming out for the 360, and just because no firm release date has been given does not change this fact. You were the one who decided to go off topic and bring up BioShock and the PS3, not me.

While it deeply saddens me that I annoy you so much (note the sarcasm), I will be able to go on...but just barely (note even more sarcasm). I always give my opinion based on what I think regardless of what system, game or company is being talked about and if that bothers you then so be it.

I will not be responding if you choose to further this argument. I don't think any other readers care to hear us squabble, nor is it even acceptable as per the forum rules. I will now go and reflect on this argument and try to go on with my day the best that I can now that you have humbled me so much (here comes that pesky sarcasm again).
