Gears of War for Pc is getting new chapters, but...

Will these chapters ever be an xbox live update? Or is it PC exclusive?

I really want it on 360, but they never mentioned it at the conference.

Oh yea Epic is really getting back at Microsoft byputting this game on the PC. I mean that has to be the best way to get back at someone...... put it on something else the more or less own (people must own Windows XP or Vista which microsoft owns which means money to Microsoft). Damn i wish i thought of doing that myself....... such a good plan to get back at someone.. help them making money.... good idea.....

well it does cause chaos. go to system wars. its not an exclusive to 360 anymore so that hurts. and console exclusive is not an existing word on system wars. but it will be eventually.

I can see this coming to the 360 version in time. Cliffy B has NEVER done ANYTHING to disappoint his fans in anyway by screwing them over. I think this is a way for MS to promote the new MS live. I wouldn't worry about it to much.

Second with the additions of new came play styles (Hopefully a CTF mode) I can totally see Cliffy B giving this to the 360 users. ALSO. I heard rumors of this being cross platforming aswell.

i think it will be only for pc :(

Oh i don't deny the fact that is sucks for us, but the fact is they arn't really get back at Microsoft by doing this. In a way that are and arn't, but it is more the arn't. They are almost getting back at us for paying for the content because if we didn't pay for the content than Microsoft would of had to rethink their plan on pricing.

It's coming to 360, why would MS show gears of war for PC, when the show was mostly about 360 and that there is gonna be cross-platform play between Windows live and 360. So why would the PC version have exclusive content when the game was STARTED on 360. Wouldn't make any sense for it to be just PC only, so don't get it into your heads people, there will be info on it coming to marketplace in the coming months. NO WORRIES

Great logic! Really good. First you think that Epic would screw over fans because Microsoft forced them to charge for downloadable content. Riiight. Think about that one for a minute.

Then they are going to hurt Microsoft by releasing the biggest game Microsoft has had this generation for Games for Live. Which is run by.... Microsoft.

That is a complete contradiction of itself.

First, Epic wanted the content to be free for it's fans, so why would they want to screw us over because we got screwed over by having to pay for it?

If it is PC only content, it will not be because of Epic getting back at Microsoft.

Maybe not...did you ever consider MS could be setting up GEoW for a Windows Live platform?? Wouldn't that be a big boast to cross-platforming between PC & 360 players?? I see it getting set-up like Shadow Run...MS already confirmed that most Window games that are coming will offer 360 controller support...this will soo be cool if MS makes this a cross-platform game.

I watched it live on G4, and the second Cliffy B made the announcement that PC people will be able to fight that huge thing with the cannon on its back... I just about... I was angry, let's put it that way.. I mean they were there for 360, like Gears held up this console for a long time and still kinda is... and now this happens and if I wanna play all the interesting content they are adding, I not only have to get a NEW copy of the game... I HAVE TO UPDATE MY COMPUTER >:(
