Don't know if it had a minimum age for other countries, but for Canadians it says must be 19+, after you register too.

Luckily, I'm 21.  Making it is gonna have a lot to do with age, since I think a lot of kids are gonna sign up not knowing.

No no, what they mean is that when the tournament starts, players will use a warzone/ranked leaderboard to determine who the winners of the tournament are. Because since this isn't a team thing, who else would you know?
