About3.5 minute ago I was playing some gears of war and I joined a random match that was about to start. There where these 2 guys that sounded like they where 19who asked me how old I was. I told them I was 14. When I said my age they quickly started insulting me. After a while they found out I was mexican and they startedinsulting mein this horrible spanish accent. Yersterday I joined a match and there was this kid that just said hi and one of the person in this match quickly started insulting him about his voice.
well i think that is at every game so good luck. but little kids voices are annoying sometimes. especially when the game is rated M but every little kid gets their mommy to buy it for them. i don't understand the reason for ratings when nobody follows them.
Hmmm. Yeah theres a lot of guys like that on XBL, not only on GEoW. But sometimes dude, you get a good room. A couple weeks ago I was just playing with these 7 guys I didnt even know and it was the funniest time ever. No one cared about winning or losing, we were just playing at one in the morning and it was tight as hell.
thats sucks if it's bad enough to stop you playing, but you can always mute or join another. If anyone is gunna ask how old I am off the bat then you know they will be d!cks. Either leave or pwn those fools. Being dissed for your age or race is weak. But if your being a fool with ur mic u deserve what ever you get (not saying you were). Start to get a good friends list togther. If you play someone who is cool add them and next time they are online join the match and if those guys are cool add them. Soon you will not have to join random matches.
My friend is 17, but he has a disability with his voice and it makes him sound like a little kid. I had to defend him from the inconsiderate a-holes that kept making fun of him. :/
well than mute people who insult you and then enjoy the game. dont let people get a mental advantage on you which these people obviously have that forced you to make this topic. you have to avoid these people so that you can enjoy your time on xbox live. or just do what i do whenever someone wants to talk about me because i skateboard, cuss them out like theyve never been cussed out before and make them shut there mouthes. its pretty fun. LMAO!
That's just how every game is. They are all gonna be filled with some mean people. Just leave or something. Normally what I do is if i'm playing with a friend, we'll just curse 'em out and they'll shut up. That probably isn't the appropriate thing to do, but neither is making fun of random people.
but i hate it when you join a game and you instantly get booted for no reason...

That's the best. I love joining matches like that. I hate joining matches that are full of douchebags. Then I just leave, or I keep playing and beat them and just listen to them come up with stupid excuses or start making insults about my momma'.
Just remember that people think they are badass and tough....when they are behind a television or monitor. OOOO real tough. Ignore it and know they are just immature.

You obviously havn't played CS on the PC.. that is very common. Just ignore them and enjoy the game. You'll come across people that don't want to play the game, just abuse others. When you find a game where everyone wants to play, you'll love it though.

Ermm CS servers have admins on them that ban people for that immediatly, unless you play on n00by servers where the admins are 12yo?!

Yea i quit playing gears mainly because i couldn't find a game without people being rude about it... same with R6V. Lately, the community that plays Shadowrun has been the best as of far on XBL.
I don't have a 360 but I will have one soon and Xbox Live is probably the biggest reason why, however these kinds of stories really put me off. I'm a hispanic-american, and I really don't want to go online to hear or get called racial slurs. I know, sometimes it seems like it's an easy thing to ignore, but sometimes those kind of things can really offend someone.

It's online and it's even better than a forum. You're insulting the guy from far away in real time with your mouth and you can hear his reaction. It's probably the best thing to happen to those losers who get off and feel like they're somebody by making fun of people online. I have an accent and probably will mute those losers. I have personaly Met the BiggestDic*Munchers on Gears of war, Wether they are younger or older, It is a breeding ground for jerks. Dont worry MrEnvelope its not your fault. Most people Just cant Handle GOW with out beeing compleat A** Holes.
