Gears of War or Guitar Hero 2?

Dude, choose Gears of War.

Haven't played GHII yet, but I think you should get Gears. Cheaper, really good, and definitely worth the investment IMO.

I have both, and i say guitar hero 2 is great, but not much replay value, same songs over.... and over... unless you BUY more songs, which there aren't some great ones... But gears of war will keep you playing campaign, and xbox live, and the new game mode is pretty cool. Get gears, then make guitar hero 2 the next game you buy

 GHII is actually $90 not $100 but still.  And it does have good replay value.. yes you hear the same songs a lot but you get to progress to harder levels and it's totally different. 

Gears is just bad@ss and $40 isn't a bad deal.  

 That's a hard decision but every true gamer needs Gears...

GHII in the other hand is fun but also costly, $90 for the game and the guitar and another $90+   for all the songs downloadable via xbl

your friend must have quiet a few screws loose to let go of gears of war, its just an amazing game. you will not be dissapointed. it has so much replay value with the single player & online mode, you'll not get board of it.

I've played all of Harmonix's old games and they never get boring, so get GH2. GoW isn't worth playing, especially online, with all the patch problems and people being dickfaces ruining it for everyone. njdss4

 at least its nothing like the talking in "Halo 2". just imagion how the people are going to talk in Halo 3... ah...

But anyways, to the topic, I have to say Gears of War (If you have online).
