Gears of War Prequel Game!

Sounds really cool, I knew they would do this at some time explaining the Pendulum wars and Marcus Fenix's trip to jail a little bit better, but I would much rather they did all of this AFTER GOW 3.... I mean, we all know its meant to be a trilogy, so they should first work on GOW 3, then the prequel IMO...

small gears 2 spoilers(I guess) ahead

I think in gears 3 we are going to learn that the Locust were created by humans. I say this based on the sire level and the Queen(She looks pretty human). I also think adam fenix will have a big part in gears 3.

I see what your saying but the sires seemed so different than the regular Locusts. That and the Locust Queen knew Marcus' father. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Last week they started storyboarding for a YET TO BE ANNOUNCED Gears of War Prequel, set before the events of Gears of War 1. All the game designers got together, and the gaming team, and it was begun 5 days ago.glax3889

I have been a member since2004 just to putz around the site, never really looked in the forum.

I belong to a music/torrent website that is invite only, small community, i was looking through those forums and a guy has a good friend who works in the video game industry that makes popular titles to keep it confidential.

Although there is a book supposed to come out, supposedly there will be a prequel game.  Maybe similar to a Halo:Recon in the sense of a different angle.

 Beleive what you want, when the game is announced you will know.

I'm pretty sure anyone who played Gears 2 can vouch that there will be a third game. And a prequel would make sense, considering how much they talk about event you never got to play, but that's something far in the future...I'm pretty secure in saying they started developing Gears 3 while Gears 2 was being developed, or at least are starting soon. 

The other possiblity is that they are working on patching right now and nothing is being developed other than online stuff. Who knows except epic?

Rumors were started about GoW being a trilogy long before GoW 2 came out. Towards the release of GoW 2, several members of EPIC held interviews.
