I think it's awful. Rushed. You can actually see the cut scenes get worse and more rushed as the game goes on. The story is awful and almost nonexistent. Truly disappointing.

Wrong. The focus is on action, but there is a story. You play a soldier that was unjustly jailed. Chaos ensues after the Locust manifest themselves and attack mankind. In the midst of the chaos, you are freed to help fight the Locust horde. Your buddy Dom rescues you. The two of you fight with the C.O.G. (Coalition of Ordered Governments) in many battles with the ultimate goal of planting a "resonator" in the Locust nest. Lives are lost, but in the end...
I've completed Gears on insane. It's good but I thought F.E.A.R on extreme was better.
Best single player game is Ninja Gaiden IMO.
P.S General RAAM is REALLY hard on insane. He's gonna chew you up and spit you out.

No he wont, hell get stuck on a cement block and point at you til he dies It's not a given that he'll get stuck. But if you play it enough, he will eventually get stuck. However, you can beat him with 4 grenades to the feet with blind shots from the revolver.
