Gears Of War Ultimate Edition Question

Is Gears Of War Ultimate Edition just the first game or is it the trilogy?

I pre ordered it the minute it was available and I thought it was the trilogy like many people but I've joined friends in confusion as to whether its all 3 games or just the first one after reading comments on sites all saying different things? Please help!

@brewski2991: It is the remastered version of the first game, but if you buy it and play it before the end of the year, then you get Xbox One backwards compatible versions of the rest of the series. The rest of the series isn't remastered and it isn't known whether or not it will include all the DLC.
