I am still playing the multiplayer ever since I got it back in December. The campaign I have gone through several times on each difficult, at least once by myself and once with a friend. The multiplayer is very fun when you get the hang of it.

Probly one of the worst shooter iv played for Xbox 360. No cross hair suck and when crosshaird ur slow which is stupid and its really laggy online

I've only played the campaign. I was somewhat disappointed. It wasn't nearly as strategic as claimed. The squad was as smart as a bag of hammers. The story was virtually non-existent. The controls were goofy, as you stick (unintentionally) to anything you run past. Being a longtime pc gamer, the graphics were comparable to what was considered top-rate on the PC 3 or more years ago (yes I played on an HD).

Not to say I didn't enjoy it at all. But if this is the best we have to look forward to, then I'm questioning my recent decision to purchase my 360.

The game is good, but disappointing and not worth the $60. My friend bought it, got bored and gave it to me.

First off, Single Player is too short and easy. Even on Hard mode. What I also hate about Gears of War is how few enemies there are on each encounter. You never find more than6 Locust at a time, which saddens me, because its called the Locust HORDE, and trailers show how many there are in numbers. Next, is multiplayer. Fun, but broken and imbalanced.

Dude dont listen to the people who say the mp is bad. yah theres glitching and a little bit of other stuff in it, WHAT GAME DOESNT HAVE THAT! any way those people who say that are just pissed becaused thay got there @$$es kicked in MP so they dont like it. THis game is the best damn game ever in my opinion The mp is the best just play with your buds and have a great time.armedanddeadly

If the multi player is as bad as all of say, why have there been not one but two gamespot tournaments for GOW multiplayer?

Its a solid game, yet once played, grows lackluster and makes you feel the game was too overrated.

Honestly man you need to rent it before you make a serious mistake. The single player takes as long as a pile of dog turd to decompose (which surprisingly doesn't take that long) and the online is so repetitive that it takes the word "repetitive" to a whole.nother.level (madtv baby hehe). With all the good titles coming out, I say pre-order something.

Exageration. It did not take six hours unless you did it on the easiest level. Even then...did you even bother to try out the multiplayer? I mean really try it, like gettingdecentat it trying.

No hes not kidding...not everyone is going to think the same way as you.

It is a fantastic game that anyone with a 360 should own. The single-player had some dissapointing areas,(no brumak battles, but fighting the beserkers is crazy fun),but it was still a great time, especiallly co-op. (the ending was a little anti-climatic though)The gameplay is amazing however IMO.Taking cover and returning fire feels really intuitive, and addicting,so does the rodey run. The gameplay also has some innovative touches such as the rodey run cam, active reloades, sweet curbstops and executions. and of course the favorite chainsaw, which never gets old IMO. The controls, once you get used to them work fine, but you might have to get used to them through some practice. Sure sometimes you stick to things you dont mean to take cover against which can get a little annoying, but it doesnt distract from the experience that much. The graphics are obviously amazing, as are the sound effects. The attention to detail on some of the character model is staggering. The lighting is exellent as well. The multiplayer is so much fun, and lasted me over 6-months with friends. It is addicting and you can play splitscreen online with a guest. There are a lot of greatmaps, but only a few modes, but now worries, for me at least cause I am happy playing standard team-death matches. Plus no map plays alike,and they all look unique.So overall definite buy. Best game on the console, and one of the best shooters ever made IMO. And whoever said the thing about it looking like a 3 year old PC game is a total ignorant blind moron:lol:
