Yup. They couldve done alot better in finding matches and adding more visible stats, so you can see your kill count with weapons that it doesn't currently show.. and some other things...

The On-line Multiplayer for gears feels more like a rushed add-on than part of the game.
 - You can't play with friends in ranked matches. Making Team-Based stratagies impossible.
 - Laggy On-line. Every game I get that stupid connection problem message even though I have a T1
 - Not enough weapons
  - Not enough maps
  - Matchmaking takes forever. If you like sitting in a lobby for 10 and 15 minutes, then this game is for you.
I think the leaderboards are perfect. The people who buy the game the day its released, play nonstop, and are skilled, thats why they are number 1, because thats what it takes to be number 1, 100% dedication.
As far as the multiplayer gameplay, the only thing i dont like that much is the 1 second delay in lag, between shots. A game with guns, and lag, dont mix at all. Its not that bad, its just not cool :(

This isnt the only game you cant play with your friends on ranked matches, im 99% sure that only sports games allow you to play ranked matches with your friends, correct me if im wrong

i find it fine, also why not play with friends in player? i do that, so its no biggie to me, hop on click join session in progress (i always have at least 10 friends playing player matches) and im playin no wait, no lag

Two 4-player teams!?!? Wow, how 1995 of them. Are you kidding? I still feel ripped off by this game. Co-op play straight up rocked. I lost interest in multiplayer within two hours.

No doubt. There are like 4 worthwhile weapons in the game, so better get to the center of the map fast to pick them up!!! Juvenile. The maps are few and mostly wack.

You're correct. I believe Microsoft instituted this policy for XBL to keep people honest, basically saying if you want to own with your friends, don't expect us to rank you for it. I'm OK with that, really. But the fact that you play ONE match and then it's back to searching for ranked matches just screams bad design.
