Gears Ranking Symbol?

So just now I was watching my brother play and there was a guy on the otherteam with the old ranking system highest symbol (star with wings)next to his name? Anyone explain?

the star is what you get at level 100, but anyone who has it likly glitched it.

The above guy is right. It's a glitch.

Even if you played everyday since the update, you wouldn't be able to get enough XP to be a rank100.

If you looked at every guy who was #1 for all the game-types, they don't even have enough XP to be rank100. And, they have to play this game A LOT to be that high, and those stats count since the game released. Whereas the XP towards your rank is almost touching a week.

I'm pretty sure they won't get to keep those icons. There has to be a way for EPIC to see who has them, so they should be taken away. Who knows with EPIC, though.:P

HAHA, funny story about this. I was playing a team with 2 other guys that were at level 100. We asked them about it and the one guy said he was an employee of Microsoft or Epic (can't remember) and that all employees could get level 100 legit. He then proceeded to tell us that he would glitch us to level 100 contingent upon 1) giving him the numbers to an unactivated 1600 MS points card and 2) giving him our Xbox Live account information so he could log in and glitch the level 100 symbol to our account! HAHAHAHAHA. I burst out laughing and called this dude out. WTF man. What kind of BS are people trying to feed others. Like Im going to give some glitching idiot my info to steal my account.

I looked at his profile and he accepts friend requests for 1600 points as well. HAHA. It also said, he doesn't ever get host (?) and had a list of some of his games and wins.

How full of yourself can you get?! I also know for a fact that he had host as I watched him play when I died and his shotty was destroying people even if he was shooting them in the foot, from really far away, etc.

That symbol means they got to level 100, which is nearly impossible at this time.
