GeoW is fun, but i think Halo's muliplayer has a better overall value.(Ranking systems,customization, many more weapons,vehicles,great matchmaking,many more modes,bigger games,more action) I could go on forever.mrxb0x360

No, far from it.

Why is it so hard for you to accept facts?
I can't see how people who loved Halo 2's multiplayer could be upset about Halo 3's multiplayer. Halo is Halo, and of course it's not going to change much in a sequel because if it did, then it wouldn't be Halo anymore.
It's a sequel and if Bungie changed the game so much then everyone would complain that it's not Halo anymore. Everyone here knew that Halo 3's multiplayer would be virtually the same, save for some new maps, weapons, vehicles and some tweaks here and there, and that's how most Halo fans would want it to be.
There isn't much room for Bungie to innovate when they are making a sequel to a proven franchise. They only have so much room to change before it's an all new game.
I've never been too into Halo so I can't comment from a Halo fan's perspective, but regardless, Halo is Halo, and anyone who expected anything more or less fooled themselves.

Because I wasn't provided facts, just a completly backwards explanation of the differences in Halo 3's Matchmaking and Gears' matchmaking systems.

I like Halo's multiplayer much better, theres an infinite way to tweak game types, and Forge is loads of fun to mess around with.
Why would you want to play a game that's full of little kids, dumba$$es, and racists?Trickshot771
Wait, which one are you talking about?
Both games have very good MP imo. If Gears 2 can manage to fix the flaws that are present in Gears i think that will will be an insane MP.
I find halo to be a little more hectic than gears is. I kind of find myself having more fun in Gears though mainly because i'm better at it and i've spent more time with it, liike i know most of the levels and stuff. In technical terms Halo is probably better but Gears was the first game i ever played online and i fell in love with it.
Maybe once i'm a little more used to halo i'll appreciate it more but we'll see.
(no i never play halo 2 online)
Halo 3 multi really upset me, it was my first halo game and i wasted 60 bucks, but gears is stale alsoNJVikings5
Don't let it ruin it for you, go get Halo:CE.

don't worry about it. Oh and it wont fit anyway, see. lol.
Anyone who uses their PC to game can tell you Gears isn't the king. There are many others better simply because of Gears's network/lag issues, which everyone but the stubborn/blind faith crew admit it has. It would shine with dedicated servers that provide interpolation and lag compensation. It really would be a contender. Bungie has done a better job in making the experience about as good as P2P on-line gaming can get. They are both a very different breed of multiplayer when Gears is played as intended so you could provide good arguments for one being the better tactical shooter.
Maybe it is my preference for something a little more down to earth even though I enjoy both games, I found myself enjoying Call of Duty 4s beta a little more than either of these 2 on-line.
