get rock band. I was gunna buy guitar hero III, (i had it preordered), but i played it at my friends house on ps3 earlier this week (his brother works at gamestop and got a copy) and the game was highly dissapointing, especially after playing guitar hero II.
i agree with sonofabear.I'll get guitar hero 3 and then i'll get rock band (i'll split GH with my bro and as for rock band we'll divide by 4 with our 2 m8s,should be pretty affordable then) but only after the latter gets wireless 360 controllers.I like both games and look forward to spending time with both.played GH3 demo and was very excited !
I was so close to gettin guitar hero without even thinking about it..... until i saw the tracklist. They made a mistake in releasing the demo. IMO they put all their good songs on it. Im waiting on rock band, easy decision. Better songs, better hardware, multi trick pony.
If I had to choose only one I would go with Rock Band because after watching the preview on IGN.com and reading more about how the modes are going to be I'm convinced this game will own all! It's going to be a blast! I can't wait! GH 3 will be sweet for sure but I do think Rock Band will be better.
