So I have a question for the GameSpot world. I want to get some videos from my PC on to my 360. I know you can stream them, but I'm very anal when it comes to video quality and I would like to view some of these videos on my 360 without quality loss. Having a decent size HDTV, its quite noticeable. I have also used the USB method and just have them on a flash drive, but I would rather just have them on my 360's hard drive permanently. I like to make back-ups of my movies, especially my blurays, and it would be nice to watch the high-def programming without any type of quality loss. I'm also aware of the various video files and codecs that the 360 can play and am willing to adapt to this.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks always in advance!!

I don't know what streaming programs you use, but I use Vuze and I think the quality is good (You can stram as SDTV or HDTV). But I'm nearsighted, maybe that has something to do with it.

Edit: My TV is a Samsung LE40A656.

I have not tried this for videos but if you burnt the videos to a CD/DVD can't you copy them onto the 360?
