Get Your Wallett Ready! Fall-Winter Games are coming!

It's a well known fact that blockbuster games are held for for this time of year. why?

I'd like to think that its because they want us to end the year with a bang. But common sense tells me

that its all for the holiday shoppers Moo-lah. Point is, we get a smorgeshboard of AMAZING Titles around this time of year.

For example: Last Year we got Fall Out 3, Far Cry 2, Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, etc.

This year seems to have upped the ante even more with titles such as Bioshock 2, Moder Warfare 2, Halo ODST, Max Payne , The Sabetour, Splinter Cell Conviction, etc.

One trend that I'm starting to love is the Collectors Edition of games.

You could argue that all the "extras" could come already packaged in the game, but these deals never happened before, and I'm willing to pay a couple extra bucks for it. [I'd like to know your views on the whole collectors edition thing]

I plan on reserving me some Halo ODST and Modern Warfare2 Next week. I advise you to reserve because 1. Sweet deals and 2. You will see a limited supply of all these games come release.

ill be picking up left 4 dead 2, spinter cell conviction, lost planet 2? maybe i think ill hold off on odst for a little, cause im definatley burnt out on halo 3, and dont want more of the same

Absolutely not true! You can walk into any Target, Best Buy, etc. and get any new game on day one. The only places you will have problems getting a new game on release day are places like gamestop. Just so they can tell you that you should have pre-ordered (so you will pre-order from them next time and guarantee them a sale)...

meh..i might pre order ODST, just for the halo reach beta, seargent johnson is cool and all, but not that appealing to me. Perhaps MW2 if they put a preorder bonus in there and it doesn't suck. Other than that, naw.

This whole pre-order hype is done purely for sales purposes. I haven't seen a game sell out everywhere in a long, long time.

So far I only want Halo 3 odst and Bioshock 2.

My must gets are MW2, Assassins creed 2, and Conviction. Every thing else I am not sure about. I do not know why everybody is obsessing over odst. Firefight does not look that cool.
