the game is amazing...all of the negative reviews (idk if u can call 89% overall negative, but some ppl do) say that the game is to similar to the first...the first was amazing, so what is wrong with being like the first one...idk seems stupid to me
the multiplayer is way fun...its not a competitive game like MW or halo, and i think that is what makes it fun...sure you wont spend countless hours upon hours playin it, but you will spend a good amount of time playin it...it is a nice change of pace and is exactly what i was lookin for
Singing player is a much more fluid, linear and creepy experience. It also gets you a good feel of how the new plasmid/weapon system works. Think of SP as a training module or something. Also, it's a great story so if you're into that, you'd probably enjoy it
I played the single player first for a few levels then jumped into the multiplayer. Both are great but when I play the single player I just can't put it down cause it's so much fun. Also imo playing as a big daddy is much funner than the guy that was in the original Bioshock cause of the drill.

don't listen to him, he should use "i didn't like it" instead of "its terrible". Anyways you should start the single player first.Neither!!!! The game is TERRIBLE, couldn't get past the second encounter... just kept dragging on

The first is much better, I really hate running around as a big daddy, slow and boring plus the guns suck this time around.

You've got it the wrong way. IT isn't terrible, you are.
That's why I'm renting it. As an individual who personally felt the original Bioshock failed to meet the critical acclaim after purchasing it (though I still had a decent amount of fun still), I decided to rent the sequel. So far (I'm on Siren Alley) the game is a magnificent improval over the first in terms of gameplay. Gunplay is actually pretty decent, and the plasmid/weapon combo idea (which quite frankly should have been in the original) has pretty much single-handedly allowed the series to hit its stride. Everything is much more fluid, from hacking, to combat, to level design. Its a much more coherent package. Still, I can't help but feel like once I'm done with it, I won't have the urge to replay it again for at leastsix or so monthsdespite the fact that it can beplayed using different powers. I think the backtracking kills the replay value. Just a personal opinion. Different strokes for different folks though, hell, I didn't like the original that much and I'm having a blast with this, so those who did like the original will probably LOVE this.Am I the only one who felt like the game was just a rental? I beat it and just felt dissapointed.
