hey guys just had a quick question. My friend just got the RROD but his xbox is still working. I no tht the system is prbly done for now but is ther any way of making the RROD go away once you got it? Sorry if this is like the 8 millionth time this question has been asked!

No, if its still working after RRoD its probably going to give out again soon. You could try the towel trick but thats also temporary.

If you are willing to open the xbox and resolder the gpu then sure, other than that, send it in.
