How many 360's are sold up to date? 10.000000+? And you never see a topic where someone praises the reliability and durability of their 360's. Sure, it's hardware so it's fragile, but what's the percentage of faulty 360's? 0.05%?

I'd praise it if mine hadn't broke. But when i got it back, it's not broken since. IT's too late for everyone to call it a dodgy console, as it hasn't been out for atleast 2 years. I'm guessing the "PS3 forum" will have just as many faultry console posts and 'help me' posts soon enough. It's what happens, manufacturers can't stop things breaking when they don't know how consumers will treat the product.

Agree!!!
There is a sticky FAQ on these boards with help and advice e.t.c when the red lights appaear ... IMO topics should be locked and directed to the FAQ. Don't get me wrong it is a sad day when a console dies (My first Dreamcast went to console heaven) but honestly apart from making the poster feel better or just venting what does it actually contribute to these boards??
Well you just started a new post about it. But I do agree with you. I also notice most of the time its people who have just signed up with less than 50 posts and this makes me think that I know that some fanboys from both sides would go to silly lengths to bad mouth a rival console. Very sad but we all know its true... I know 20 odd people with 360 only 1 has been sent for repair. It cost NOTHING not even postage and was returned within 5 days. Which is strange coz i constantly see people saying they got charged £50+ for repairs and it took 3 weeks. Very odd... Though their are some very odd people on these boards...How many 360's are sold up to date? 10.000000+? And you never see a topic where someone praises the reliability and durability of their 360's. My friend it ceratinly isn't 10% coz if it was their would be law suits. 10% would be over a million consoles and trust me its not even 100,000.[QUOTE="ChevelleFan"][QUOTE="joepo1980"]How many 360's are sold up to date? 10.000000+? Your a blind fanboy if you think its only 100,000. GS psoted a article last year about how MS was owning up to more failures then they were letting on about. Hell look at the article posted on GS today about once again extending the warranty because the "refurbs" they send out suck and now they will actually repair the console you send them. Usually takes 15-20% to be faulty before lawsuits and recalls happen. 10% is more than a fair number. If thats a million console then so be it, its totally believable considering the amount of times people have to have there 360s replaced.
I do get sick of seeing these threads, but please. Im LMAO at less then 100,00 console being faulty. Its at least 500,000-600,000 at the VERY least.
