Well my b-day is coming and im not sure which game to get, i have alot of shooters Geow, R6, Halo 3, Orange box so im npt sure if another shooter would be a good choice but COD 4 does look awesome, and i can't really decide wether to get GH 3 or Rock Band so outta of the 3 which would you get and why?
I just bought Guitar Hero 3 earlier today and I love it. I also reserved Call of Duty 4 Collecters Edition.
Gh3 got an 8.9 and Call of Duty 4 got a 10 from OXM but Ive been waiting for Call of Duty 4 for a while now, getting Gh3 was just a "spur of the moment" choice for me but I dont regret it.
I'd say GH3, the songs in it are killer and it's affordable...rent COD4 before you buy it, I found the Beta gameplay similar to COD3's And with FPS's now people always hype them up like they're going to be the best game EVER and then tons of people get disappointed. Everyone has their own taste, and for examples of disappointment think back to when games like GeoW, Bioshock and Halo 3 were released. The message boards will first fill with people saying it's amazing, then people bashing it and now for the most part the arguments over how good it is have ended (thankfully)
Dude, this is totally a hard choice. I honestly can't make it. Throw in Mass Effect LCE and you have the only titles I am buying for the rest of the year, well besides Uncharted for PS3, but besides that. Rock Band is going to be sick, but you gotta think about RB as a platform as the developers said. The game will have tons of new content, stuff GH3 can't keep up with I'm sure. RB has the party status as well, and the bomb drums. GH3 is siiick though. However, when you throw COD4 in the mix, what can you do? But really you have to think of what you want, some of the best music games ever, or the best shooter of the year (inmyopinion!)? Whatever you can get out of the most out of. But last of all, as a wise wise college student who has outgrown the days of recieving gifts from parents. I am assuming that is who is buying you these, maybe your girlfriend, because that's the only person I can pull to get me a game, which is hard enough, she'd rather waste money on clothes! ANYWAYS yo, if you throw in the factor it is a gift, especially from your parents, milk it for all it's worth and get Rock Band. It is the obvious solution to your problems. You can get the other games your self and they will still be cheaper than Rock Band's 170ish price tag. Anyways, I have done my good post for the day. Hope some of the ranting helps. -out
id say call of duty 4. i had guitar hero 2 and once you beat it, its pretty much over so imguessing guitar hero 3 will be the same. rock band just seems like another guitar hero to me except its even more expensive so if i were you i would go with call of duty. i played the beta and it was awesome. ill probably sell a few of my games sson so i have enough for that and mass effect next month
