GH3 ?? or Rock Band ?

wich one should i get ??

GH3 looks great, and cheaper

Rock band is a new entry, more expensive

Depends on YOU.

Rock Band if:

If you want to play different instruments or sing
If you like the track list
If you regularly have at least one other person to play with (World Tour mode)

GH3 if:

You JUST want to play guitar
You like the track list
Singing and drums do NOT appeal to you at all
You never plan to play multiplayer

If you have friends/like drums... get rock band.

If not, get GH3.

On Guitar Hero 3, you can play multiplayer. There's Co-Op Quick Play, Battle Mode, Pro-Face Off, and Face Off.

For me, I'd go w/ guitar hero 3 because it's got great songs, it's more challenging than rock band's guitar, and it's got more songs at the start plus DLC.

If you want the drums or want to sing, rock band's the only choice, but be aware that u're gonna have to fork up some extra money to get more songs than the 45 that it starts out w/. That's just not enough songs to last a year.

So get GH3 if: you want a challenging guitar, more songs from the start, wireless guitar, competetive online, co-op online, and DLC

So get Rock Band if: you want an easier guitar, you want the drums (i'm getting the drums seperate in 2008) or like to sing, like to play co-op multiplayer.

In Canadan GH III is 120$ at my futureshop. Thats A LOT of money fora game and a plastic guitar. Rock Band is 170$ where you get a better guitar drums and a mic. For 50$ extra you are getting a good deal.Lawnboi

Don't know which Canada you live in but its only 99$. The Canadian dollar's uproar made all the major stores lower there prices from anyway from 5-35%, making Guitar Hero 3 99$

How do you know it's going to be harder guitar in GH3...? You have never played Rock Band. And have you played the GH3 demo?It'salot easier then GH2.

Yeah, base the difficulty of the game based of 5 songs. You make him sound like he doesn't know what hes saying cause hes never played Rockband, but your at fault too.

No... I'm basing that on the fact that I got either 4 or 5 stars on all the songs in the demo on hard first try. I maybe have 5 stars on3 or4 hard songs on GH2.Plus certain button sequences that always gave me trouble in GH2 I was able to do with ease on the GH3 demo. It's obviously easier.

but why does it have 10 frets buttons....

Rock Band Hands Down.....First of all, it has awesome replay value, 4 games in One!!! ( Microphone singing career, Drum career, lead Guitar Career and Bass Guitar Career!) So you will be going through all the differnt instruments throughout the game! And of course, A mode where you can jam it with 3 of your friends all at one time! ( including you, 4 alltogther)On top of that, they are going to be releasing ALBUMS for downloadable content every WEEK!! OMFG~!!And Who wants to play with characters already made by the creators ( GH 3) In rock Band , you can custumize your own character and watch him jam while your playing your instrument or mic!!And the winner is?? Yeah no doubt get rock band. btw there is no bass career (i hope someone else didn't say this already) but there is a 4 player band career that you should look up it's amazing.
